Committed to providing an opportunity for all children to gain confidence and self-esteem through participation in outdoor activities

"Our partnership with Outdoor Outreach allows Monarch students to explore the outdoors in ways that make a lasting impact on their lives. Whether out surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, or just sharing a sack lunch at a beautiful look-out point, they are discovering new strengths and possibilities, forging crucial relationships with positive peers and adults, and walking away inspired to live fuller, healthier lives. We are blessed to have Outdoor Outreach at our school!
Rachelle Jacobson
Creative Director, The Monarch School
"Whether it’s surfing the perfect wave, climbing the highest peak, or simply appreciating the beauty of your surroundings, the success is in the experience itself. The cool thing about Outdoor Outreach is that it puts kids in unfamiliar surroundings and gives them the opportunity to
succeed. By giving kids these experiences and exposing them to environments outside their ordinary lives, Outdoor Outreach helps them realize that they can do things
they never thought were possible. Outdoor Outreach does more than just tell kids to believe in themselves-it gives them evidence to back it up.

"REI is glad to have found an amazing organization like Outdoor Outreach. We feel that their programs play a huge role in introducing youth to the outdoors, and as a corporation we are happy in supporting such an important cause."

Partners

In addition to our youth development programs, Outdoor Outreach collaborates with and acts as a resource to more than 30 community-based organizations working with at-risk youth. Through our trips and programs, we tailor our relationships with these youth agencies to produce the maximum impact on the children they serve. These partnerships enable us to make long-term investments in each participant’s development and growth. Partners include:
