Nancy's Story
My name is Nancy Tran, and I am 23 years young. I grew up in City Heights where my mother and I experienced the brunt of domestic violence. Because of this, I attended five different elementary schools while growing up. During my childhood, I avoided home as much as I could and spent a lot of my time in after-school activities, public libraries, and recreation centers.
